More Free Amazon stuff – Amazing Deals Group

If you remember a few weeks ago, I told you about my discovery of Snagshout, a site where you can get free or deeply discounted amazon items, in exchange for an honest review. Today I’ve found and signed up for a similar service called Amazing Deals Group. If you missed our first post on the topic, their video gives a simple primer.

I like simple infographics so I stole theirs. You basically sign up, link your amazon account and pick a deal. Once you receive your item, leave a review and you get an additional credit (leading to the virtuous cycle of more great stuff)

Once I signed up, I headed over to the deals. Once again, super simple and clean site. It’s easy as can be to use. 

Unlike Snagshout, the deal list is pretty limited. There aren’t multiple pages of items across a broad number of categories. Even with the much shorter list, I immediately found an item I was interested in – this nifty magnetic screen door. We have 2 big back doors that open to the backyard that I would leave open more for the dogs, but the mosquitos in Houston ( its Jumanji down here) make that a bad idea. This screen is simple, magnetic and doesn’t require any real install, so hopefully it solves the problem.

Here was the amazon listing. Anyone buying it right now would spend $30.

Conclusion

It’s worth noting that this service (and others like it) are mainly worth it if you are a prime member and shipping is free regardless of how frequently you order items. If you are a prime member, damn get excited! Free gifts!
