What I’m Reading

Adam Reading

Rough week of work and I’m now on vacation in Belize (woo hoo!), so it’s a short list this week. Enjoy and I’ll see you post-trip.

Fun and Interesting

  • The Soda Industry Struggles as Consumer Taste Changes (NYT)
  • Why have Digital Books Stopped Evolving? (Aeon)
    • This article really resonated with me. Amazon could be doing so many more interesting things.
    • Quote: “Kindle’s interface makes it difficult to keep tabs on those expanding digital libraries: at best, we can see a dozen titles at a time, all as inscrutably small book covers. Titles that fall off the first-page listing on a Kindle cease to exist. Kindles could remind us of past purchases – books either bought but left unread, or books we read passionately and should reread.
  • This is Twitters moment (Stratechery)

I finally finished (yay) Thinking Fast & Slow by Daniel Kahneman. Great read.
