We’ve done a couple of weekend trips lately and I know many of you enjoy a view in to our lives a bit so I thought I’d share a few photos.

We managed to take a great 4 day weekend to stay with friends in St. Louis and used our Southwest points and Companion Pass to fly free. That’s  my favorite kind of trip! Frugal from every angle.

I haven’t seen my good friend Steven in at least a year and it was a chance to finally meet his significant other. We hit up the arch, toured Budweiser, saw the Cardinals stadium (unfortunately no games that weekend), went to a music festival (Loufest), tried a few great restaurants and even hit up Six Flags.

That’s a full weekend!

The following weekend it was my grandparents 60th (SIXTY YEARS HOLY CRAP) Wedding Anniversary so we took a quick weekend flight to Little Rock to see my family, friends and celebrate with them.

That’s a pretty amazing accomplishment and I’m very happy for them.

Sounds like fun! I need to make it to the Budweiser tour one of these days. Summer seems to be a busy travel time for me as well with weekend trips quite often. Looking forward to the fall where things start to slow down.
